The Beechcraft Bonanza, first flown in 1945 and introduced in 1947, is a single‑engine, low‑wing general‑aviation aircraft that has been produced continuously for 79 years, longer than any other aircraft. More than 18,000 Bonanzas and 6,000 twin‑engine derivatives have been built. It is available in V‑tail and conventional‑tail versions, the latter marketed as the Debonair. The Bonanza remains popular with private owners, air charter companies, and some military operators.
