Air Tractor Inc. is an employee-owned aircraft manufacturer based in Olney, Texas. Aeronautical engineer and agricultural-aviation pioneer Leland Snow founded the company in 1972, beginning work that year on the AT-300. Air Tractor builds purpose-designed agricultural, aerial-firefighting, military, and utility aircraft, with models organized around hopper capacities from the 400-gallon class through the AT-1002's 1,000-gallon class. Its aircraft operate in more than 30 countries, and the company became employee-owned through an employee stock ownership plan on July 1, 2008.
