The Van's RV‑7 and RV‑7A are two‑seat, single‑engine, low‑wing homebuilt aircraft sold as kits by Van's Aircraft. The RV‑7 has a tailwheel, while the RV‑7A uses a nosewheel. Introduced in 2001, the RV‑7 replaced the earlier RV‑6 and features longer wings, larger fuel tanks and a bigger rudder to improve spin recovery.
