Vans RV-7 Vans

Manufacturer: Vans Aircraft

The Van's RV‑7 is a two‑seat aircraft with longer wings, larger fuel tanks, and a larger rudder for improved spin recovery. The airframe accepts engines up to 215 hp and features rivet holes and computer‑assisted layout to reduce build time. The RV‑7A variant adds a hardened nose‑wheel strut and free‑castering nose wheel, steered by differential braking or rudder at higher taxi speeds. Many parts are shared with the RV‑8 and RV‑9, lowering production costs.
