The Van's RV-6 is a two‑seat, single‑engine, low‑wing homebuilt aircraft sold as a kit. It was the first in the RV series to offer side‑by‑side seating and a nosewheel option. First flown in 1985, more than 2,700 kits have been completed before it was replaced by the RV‑7 in 2001.
