The Van's RV‑6 and RV‑6A are two‑seat, single‑engine, low‑wing kit aircraft produced by Van's Aircraft. The RV‑6 is a tail‑wheel version, while the RV‑6A adds a nosewheel. First flown in 1985, the series introduced side‑by‑side seating to the RV line and has sold over 2,700 kits. It was replaced by the RV‑7 in 2001.
