Mooney M22

Manufacturer: MOONEY

The Mooney M22 Mustang, later renamed the Mark 22, was Mooney’s first pressurized single‑engine aircraft. Designed as a high‑performance, five‑seat light aircraft, it combined a low‑wing monoplane layout with a larger fuselage and taller fin than the earlier M20 series. Only 36 units were built between 1965 and 1970, and the line was shut down after the aircraft was sold at a loss, contributing to Mooney’s bankruptcy.
