Bell 47b

The Bell 47 is a single‑rotor, single‑engine light helicopter that became the first helicopter certified for civilian use in 1946. Developed from the Bell 30 prototype, it was produced in more than 5,600 units worldwide, including licensed versions by Agusta, Kawasaki and Westland. The aircraft served in both military and civilian roles and remains a classic example of early helicopter design.
