Vans RV-9 Vans Acft
Manufacturer: Vans Aircraft
The Van's RV‑9 and RV‑9A are American two‑seat, single‑engine, low‑wing homebuilt aircraft sold as kits by Van's Aircraft of Aurora, Oregon. The RV‑9 has a tailwheel landing gear, while the RV‑9A uses a nosewheel. Both models feature a newly designed high‑aspect‑ratio wing with a Roncz airfoil, giving them a low stall speed and efficient cruise performance. They are similar in size and weight to the earlier RV‑6 and look like the RV‑6 and RV‑7.
