The Van's RV‑6 is a two‑seat, low‑wing, single‑engine kit aircraft produced by Van's Aircraft. It was first flown in 1985 and was the first in the RV series to offer side‑by‑side seating and a nose‑wheel option. Over 2,700 kits have been completed and flown, and the aircraft was replaced by the RV‑7 in 2001.
