The North American T‑28 Trojan is a single‑engine, radial‑powered military trainer that entered service in the early 1950s. Built by North American Aviation, it served the U.S. Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard as a primary trainer. The aircraft was also adapted for counter‑insurgency missions, most notably during the Vietnam War, and remains popular today as an aerobatic and warbird performer.
