The Van's RV‑7 is a two‑seat, single‑engine, low‑wing kit aircraft sold by Van’s Aircraft. It comes in a tail‑wheel version (RV‑7) and a nose‑wheel version (RV‑7A). Introduced in 2001 to replace the RV‑6, it features longer wings, larger fuel tanks and a bigger rudder for improved spin recovery.
