The Van's RV‑6 is a two‑seat, single‑engine, low‑wing homebuilt airplane sold in kit form by Van's Aircraft. It comes in a tail‑wheel version (RV‑6) and a nose‑wheel version (RV‑6A). The aircraft was the first in the RV series to offer side‑by‑side seating and a nosewheel option. First flown in 1985, more than 2,700 kits have been completed and flown.
