Champion 7EC
Manufacturer: Champion
The Champion 7EC, marketed as the Traveler, is a light aircraft that evolved from the Aeronca Champion design. Champion Aircraft Corporation began producing the 7EC in 1954 after acquiring the type certificate for the Aeronca Champion. The aircraft carried the 7‑series designation and was built at the company’s Osceola, Wisconsin plant, which operated out of L.O. Simenstad Municipal Airport. It was one of the first models to carry a name alongside its alphanumeric designation.
